Thank you all for the reply and warm re-welcome. To be correct, my first initial post was 4 years ago and right after I bought the Burb. Meanwhile the paintwork has been polished, the striping and wheels/tires have been replaced which makes a big difference. But many...

1986 SUB C20: Updating/expanding instrument cluster and radio system

Hello Eveyone, As we're most of the time riding with our travel trailer behind, I was missing some "crucial" information of my engine / transmission / truck's behavior. Therefore I want to add some additional gauges to give me the desired information. But I want to keep the square as original...

    1986 SUB C20: 350 LT9 engine improvement

Hello everybody, I'm now using my Suburban for a few years now as a second car, mainly to go with the family on camping trips and towing the RV trailer of 3500 lbs or some occasional daily (nice weather) trips. Water leak help!!!

Hello, I had the same issue in the past weeks. A lot of water coming in on the driver side, less on the passenger side. Seemed to be rain water crawling between rubber and windshield. Solution was removing chrome window trim and adding sealant between window and rubber. Re-install chrome trim...

Thank you all for this warm welcome ! @ Honky Kong Jr, Why are you so sure my LT9 is 185 hp ? GM tech data & the 1986 sales brochure clearly specifies 2 different possibilities for the LT9. So I was wondering how I can see the difference ? Thank you gor your advice.
