Unidentified Air Filter Intake
Thanks guys. Pretty neat that the engineers were playing around with stuff like this. Unfortunately the truck has a new owner so I cannot verify the code. Someone should put a motorized fan in it as a mini turbo!- Dave C.

Unidentified Air Filter Intake
I have an air filter assembly from a friends 86 or 7 k10 which was ditched when the carb was changed. Ive seen this style air filter housing before, but not the air intake hose which does look like a factory type setup. Can somebody please verify if it is indeed a GM piece, or just an...- Dave C.

Tailgate Trunnions
Does anybody here know the different sizes of trunions that were used for the tailgates? I am running a '75 tailgate on a shortbed that I am not certain of the year. The problem I have is that the tailgate seems very loose when pivoting open or close. I think the trunnions are probably not...- Dave C.

AC compressor power
Thank you Jerry for the chart and application description. I recharged the system this spring after I found one of the lines had a pinhole. Proir to charging I flushed the system and found the oil to look like graphite, so I would assume I pushed the compressor by re-using it. The AC work all... -
AC compressor power
Ok, I just found it odd that it is on all the time, except when the control is in the off position. For instance if I have the heat vents on, and the air lever to hot, and the AC compressor is running. Now I just need to find out why it's not building any pressure and making a lot of noise... -

I have an 85 with factory AC, which still works. I noticed that wherever the lever for the climate controls is positioned, the compressor is powered up, except in the off position. So if I have lever all the way over on the defrost, the AC is on. What should I look at? -

Anybody here know what it would take to run a stock Blazer fuel pump in the tank with a Rochester carb? I have an electric fuel pump I would like to eliminate as it is pretty noisy. Since I am attempting to install a Blazer tank in my C10, I thought of using the '89 Blazer fuel pump and...- Dave C.
