Rear frame support/crossmember on 2wd
Yeah, figured it was the spare tire hanger because of the location of the hole in the center of it. And it does have that rear crossmember there, that's where my ground got tied into for the bed because we all know how awesome the grounding system on these trucks are lol. Well with the limited availability of certain things, I bought a 3d printer and have been busy tinkering with it. The plastic eyelid grille trim retainer pieces have finally given up and I've taken on the task of 3d printing some parts. And a nice little bowtie display piece and some grille... -
Question about checking current flow to the choke.
I also run power from an ignition/key on only source if you don't have the "necessary" electrical oil sending unit. I've done this with many trucks and never had an issue so far. 85 K10 with stacked headlights - are these connectors correct?
Low beams on top, they have the 3 wire plug, and high beams on bottom with the 2 wire plug. You can clean up the contacts inside the plugs and they will work just fine. My 83 has the original plugs and they work like a charm. I cleaned them up a bit to make sure they were getting good contact...- 83Stepper

Excited to see all the progress everybody is making. I'm just over here driving my square around and just enjoying it. But today I did some tinkering around and stuffed some stereo stuff in it for now. Haven't done anything custom with it for now, just stashed it in there and tested it all out... -

Usually, but not always once you've got the issue resolved, you can refill the reservoir and once the rears start building pressure again you should be ok. I wouldn't stomp on the pedal too hard, just smooth easy motions until she starts building pressure and the valve should recenter itself, or...- 83Stepper

When does it happen? All the time? Only when you shut it off after driving it for a while? Only when it's 77.241°F with an ambient dew point of 73 and relative humidity higher than 43% or? Rear Side Markers
Yup, purely a running light as wired oem. Sure you can wire it as a signal, but would have to set it up like how the front signals are wired so that the side markers turn off when the front signals turn on. Not sure if that's something you'd want to get in to or not.- 83Stepper

Rear Side Markers
Should be connected to the brown wire as a running light. The yellow is one of the signal/brake wires. Green is backup, black is ground and whatever remaining wire is the other side signal/brake wire. Is this an aftermarket rear slider?
To me it looks like an aftermarket unit. I haven't seen one that clean for a really loooong time lol. But the tabs on the sides of the rear sliders seem like an aftermarket option to open the window easier. What have you done to your square lately??
Replaced the dead GE363 bulbs for the aftermarket gauges with some LED alternatives. Super bright, now I can see the oil pressure and coolant temp at night. Finally got the cold start high idle set after like a week. Might actually do a led swap of the dash lights now.
