    It's a stud. Gotta take the other nut and washer off then pull/force it from the red bushing. A hammer can work but be careful of damaging the threads.     And here's the others. The LT250r I built from a basket case, then traded it for the 400ex. The wife's ltz400 is currently under construction and got powder coated. The shadow ACE tourer is technically the newest to us but the oldest out of the lot. And the 04 CRF450 has been mine since new.

    I'm not sure exactly what changed to make this happen. But the one I put in my truck (LMC buy) when the old speedo got wonky has a 100,000 mark. I'd imagine those rotary counters just aren't made with only 5 digits anymore.
