Steering Stabilizer Different Than Current One Even When Said To Be Exact Fit/ Bolt Doesn't Fit Through Tie Rod

Ah I see it now. Yea, with the parts we get for anything anymore it's honestly a toss up if the hardware will be correct or not. It looks as though the studs they included are definitely for a larger hole. Best bet would be to do as nvrenuf said and use those old studs. Hopefully the nuts can be...

Steering Stabilizer Different Than Current One Even When Said To Be Exact Fit/ Bolt Doesn't Fit Through Tie Rod

It's a stud. Gotta take the other nut and washer off then pull/force it from the red bushing. A hammer can work but be careful of damaging the threads. Actually... in the bags of new hardware it looks like you have new studs for the new unit. Are those not the correct size? Edit: After looking...

    Show your sick toy !!!

And here's the others. The LT250r I built from a basket case, then traded it for the 400ex. The wife's ltz400 is currently under construction and got powder coated. The shadow ACE tourer is technically the newest to us but the oldest out of the lot. And the 04 CRF450 has been mine since new.

    Headers/fastners

Last time, used proform wedge locking bolts and Remflex gaskets. Never had an issue with them, even with smaller flanged headers.

Scores from DIY Parts Yards, Pull A Part, U Pull It etc

I'm probably wrong, but it kind of looks like a belt driven hydraulic pump. Not sure why a reefer box truck would need one tho.

    Spark plug color

Something to keep in mind, Edelbrocks pretty much require a fuel pressure regulator to be installed between the carb and the fuel pump. If you don't have one get a good adjustable one with a pressure gauge, 4-5psi is all they want. If this was your problem you'd be having a rich condition and...

    My new bowtie.

@Grit dog that's a damn good idea about using that stuff around the battery. They would have done the entire truck for around $7200 o_O. I might have them do the fuel tank on my cb1100 that'll probably be decently cheap tbh. Yep same 2.7l as the gm 1500s. Apparently, they are going to have 3...

    My new bowtie.

That is a very nice truck you have there. I really wanted the canyon in that AT4 trim. But around here they seem impossible to find. You also got that amazing desert tan color! Those babymax engines are absolutely fantastic. I did a lot of back and forth on the duramax vs the v6 when I was...

    My new bowtie.

Thanks for the recommendation @Grit dog I ended up getting a local to me company install that clear bra stuff. They used xpel. Did the front of the hood, front of the front fenders, bumper, grill, side mirrors, headlights, foglights, door sills, and the rear edge of the doors. All for the same...

    My new bowtie.

I was think about this a bit more today. And I think it would be a good thing to do for the new colly. Do you think the dealership offered 3M product is sufficient or would I be better off looking elsewhere? Ie. Tint or paint shop?

    83 K20 for sale.

I'm sure I ended up leaving some money on the table. Buyer didn't haggle or even ask about price at all. And I'm sure in other markets or different times I could have asked 15k for it and still been a decent buy/sell, but I'm happy with what I got and I think he feels the same way.

Somewhat local. He lives in Lebannon so about 20-30 minutes away. Apparently, he also has a 89 suburban that he really likes. So it'll be a good home. I did mention if he decides to pull that engine to let me know and I'd buy it back.

    My new bowtie.

@idahovette The heated seats are well worth it (I'm spoiled now in my space ship compared to the 83). The desert tan (love that color) would have been my first choice in color. But unfortunately color choices at MSRP were very limited. In fact, I ended up driving 4 hours one way to get this one...

    My new bowtie.

As most know, I sold my square. But I am still in a bowtie. And now I don't mind sharing it. Don't hate me for getting a new pickup :Get him!: It's a 22 Colorado Z71 CCLB with the 3.6l V6. I have 1600 miles on it now and have had it for two months or so now. It's been a nice and smooth lil rig...

Well all, Kind of bitter sweet, the truck sold today. Got my asking without any shenanigans, and it actually went to a guy who I feel will appericate and use it like it should be. Of course, I'll be sticking around the forum. I like it here. And maybe in my future, I'll pickup another square...

    7 digit odometer?

I'm not sure exactly what changed to make this happen. But the one I put in my truck (LMC buy) when the old speedo got wonky has a 100,000 mark. I'd imagine those rotary counters just aren't made with only 5 digits anymore.

    83 K20 for sale.

There are but their shops are all full of their own projects. :rotflmao: I suppose I could try talking them into selling those to make room for mine. My real hope was to win that big powerball, buy the neighbors house, knock it down, build a shop and fill it full of bow ties. But that didn't...

    83 K20 for sale.

@Grit dog I feel that you are dead on. It's definitely going to be a specific person who will be buying it. It won't be the person who asks me "Oh my, is that a carburetor?" It'll be just like that Nevada neighbor's, it'll get polished and buttoned up nicely and live a pampered life.

The heads are Procomp PC3001-0606-0026 for the research I've done on them. I bought them new at a swap meet 15+ years ago. They are a 195cc intake runners, the ports match perfectly with the edelbrock 7101 performer RPM intake, those measure out to 1.92x1.16 inch. I do believe they are also a...

    83 K20 for sale.

I know I'm going to. It will definitely hurt a bit to see it drive away. But ended up getting a new Colorado to take the daily driver role. If I had the space at the house I'd totally keep it and keep improving it.

@scrap--metal No worries at all. I was curious and actually decently surprised. I was right there with you, expecting upwards of $2k. The CL post is definitely long winded. But owning it for the last 6 years I've gotten to know the truck pretty thoroughly, I feel it doesn't have any secrets...

    83 K20 for sale.

@scrap--metal I'm really not too sure. I was wondering myself so I just did an official inquiry with Nexusautotransport.com (first thing that came up with a google search) and from Independence Oregon, 97351 to Saint Paul MN 55111 (random zip code that I found for a ballpark quote). With it...

    83 K20 for sale.

Grit dog said the same thing when he saw it for sale and messaged me about it. I'm going to do just that after this weekend. Figure throw another $20 or so at CL for sale adds over that way and see if I get anything back on it. My uncle over in Ohio echoed the same thoughts. Rust free older (or...

    83 K20 for sale.

I've had a few people suggest ebay. I've never sold anything this big on there before so I'm not sure how that would work, but it might be where I go with it TBH. I've also thought about BAT. I've seen several go for decent money on there but I've also been told they are pretty picky about what...
