    They sell a lens paint at the auto parts store specifically for that. Pretty easy clean with alcohol tape off and spray. Do one coat at a time till its to your liking.

    It must have. It was 37 years old and when I took it off there was no grease under it. As far as the upgraded alternator. Lights are much brighter and I can have everything electrical on and have no issues.

    Turned out to be the ignition control module. Voltage gauge is working the way it should now. Thanks.

    Well like the title says. I put in a 140a alternator today. Ran good for couple hours. Volt gauge at idle was normal but when driving would peg the gauge. Then she quit no spark. Now I know its either the pickup in the dizzy or the coil but did the New alternator cause it? Has anyone else...

    Thanks. Yeah it was nice and I miss it. But I couldn't bring myself to drive it through the mud or woods. It was 100% rust free not even any surface rust. It spent its whole life in the dessert.

    Hey guys. Just sold my mint rust free 89 k5 because it was too nice to wheel and picked up a 76 k10 all stock with 70,000 miles on it. Gonna do the 3/4 ton swap and 4 inch lift for now. But I'm not gonna make it pretty.
