    Ignition Resistance Wire-Needed or Nah

I went the other route. Found a solid fuse in the panel and linked the blue wire from the distributor to that. I had it wrong at first and the truck wouldn't turn off because it was hooked to a battery fuseable lead LOL! Boy did I learn something tonite. Next step is to take that same lead and...

    Ignition Resistance Wire-Needed or Nah

Problem now resolved, but I am a little troubled by other things being wired to that wire still. Fuel pump, which is electric and electric choke are both wired to that. Kits out 9v while motors running but the wire cooks for some reason. we will figure out the rest. In the meantime, thank you...

    Ignition Resistance Wire-Needed or Nah

It just needs a solid 12volts right. Nothing more nothing less for the HEI? I should be able to pull that from the fuse panel on the ignition fuseable slot that's open.....right?

I have removed it from the original shop to finish it up on the brightwork and minor details as I can on my own. So here is my dilemma. We put in a donor SBC 350 with some work done to...

Also, keep in mind, that these are factory-styled shocks, just new on the front and back and no shock extender bracket on the back. Not sure if this is causing this issue but just giving all the info I have on hand in hopes of a great answer. Thanks fellas.

You mentioned pigtail. Do you mean shove that top of the spring into that cut out and let it be? On the rear, were not using them, so are you saying add them even though its mounting properly without issue. I don't need any crazy issues. This is the old mans truck, I'm just borrowing it on...

Maybe thats the problem. I went with factory styled shocks and on the rear, were not using that shock extension shackle as we didn't need it. could that be causing an issue? Both upper and lowers are brand new from LMC. spindles and shocks are aftermarket.

I hope so, I will go by the shop tomorrow and test the turn radius again. But the vertical clearance still bothers me. I cant get my full hand underneath there and that's gonna be a problem. But I may just drive it and see once we change the springs. The spring issue is the biggest problem right...

    New door seals, new problems.

Update. I feel it's an alignment issue. He's saying its a can corner issue since we replaced the floors and inner and out rockers and cab corners. Doors are on but just look at the pics. This is the take over mechanic since the original one is recovering from surgery.
