Custom Classic Trucks normally has some good articles on squarebodys. American Truck is produced by a former editor of CCT + LMC and theyve had 2 good issues so far. Street Trucks, Popular Hot Rodding, and Hot Rod Deluxe are also on my list that I pick up from time to time.
Im pretty lucky to own most of my soft spot vehicles. The truck is the obvious, then theres the 75 corvette, the 2000 firebird, and a 86 RX7. Id love to add to the fleet with an older mercedes or one of the mid 60s gm 4 doors.
I have the same issue on my wifes 99 jeep. Ive never come across a solution to it before. So far Ive just cleaned the cap and changed the oil and went on with my day.
Right now the 350 tranny is in it. I would like to move up to the 700 for the od. I may end up havin to if the old tranny doesnt perform as well as it used to when its hooked back up. This build has only stretched on for about 2 years now lol
This is one that I have scanned and saved. Its a newer model dash.

Also saw someone on another forum putting in mid 60s truck dash in a square. That didnt come out to bad either
Here's the write up on what was just put in my truck.
