Not in my case. My problem is that the seal is too tight because the door is closer in the jam area so it's tight there when closing and has to be forced closed.
I put a set of 1990 doors on my 78 using the 78 hinges I can't get it adjusted good any witch way. It closes hard. When I get it to close nicely it leaks tons of air. Guess I'll have to pull the fender on this one lol
Probably in the nearer future.
On my R4 I have lockup on a switch and it does the job.
I know there is a way to add in pressure switches and daisy chain them to lock and unlock on its own. Do you or someone else on here have a wire diagram for this so I can make my own harness?
There's a place called quadrajet power that is easy to search on google. I tried to copy the link. Also @82sbshortbed Has someone else he's referred others too for quadrajet stuff.
@Blue Ox
Crankcase vent is road-draft style and believed to be clear. I don't think i have drain restrictions but haven't looked. I don't think I have blow by wich means I'll have to remove compressor wheel like you mentioned probably to check.
Belated update. I pulled off the outlet and found some oil. I know I've seen this on powerstrokes and supercharged mini cooper's lol but I don't like it. I have a bigger turbo I've been saving anyways so Maybe it's time to swap. Assuming it's still good too like I think. I think its a wh1c...
This is right up my alley! I love old tech rare ace stuff getting fixed up like it deserves. That thing is so RAD!! I was laugh crying at how amazingly massive the engine is lol. Gvw over 100 ton. Probably good fir 200ton lol
Jack it up and spin tires freely.
If they all spin freely in neutral then check your rear diff out. I've had similar symptoms with failing spider gears.
Do you have dual tanks? Maybe selector valve malfunction sending gas through return to wrong tank? Or improperly routed fuel hoses. Maybe return is going to canister?
I'll check like you said. And the sample on my finger is just shiny from direct sunlight. It's really just wet black. No aluminum tint. I could always take another pic.
