Had the original carb rebuilt. The guy said this was the first quadrajet he had seen in a few years that was never rebuilt prior and had all the original internal components. Plan to reinstall it later this week. -

Heater Motor?
The system is designed to run at all times (when key is on).I believe it started in 74 or 75. As mentioned above a toggle switch could be wired in to stop that function.- Tinker
