    Long travel rear shackles

They do talk about these being used with a tension style shackle set up on the ORD site, but with aftermarket springs I’m sure!

    Long travel rear shackles

I appreciate the input! Im not necessarily looking to soften anything up, rather seeing if this would allow the stock set up droop a little further. Good point with lowering ride height!

    Long travel rear shackles

I figured it was a shot in the dark anyway! My caveman brain just thought longer arm=more leverage=more pivot, but I see your point!

    Long travel rear shackles

This is what I’m referring too! The theory in my head being that they could possibly allow the rear suspension to only droop better even with the stiff spring?

Just got notification that they shipped! Ordered their extended brake lines, steering box brace (bolt-in), swaybar correction kit with bushings and a dropped pitman arm. Figured that’s a good start at the least!

That’s my buddies’ truck! It’s an 89 1/2 ton 4x4 suburban, he was my room mate for a while too so it’s in the background of a lot of my pictures :Big Laugh: When he finishes rebuilding the steering column I’ll be sure to get a picture of it!

I appreciate the welcome! It’s been a slow long term project, I have a 10 month old son now that’s given me inspiration to speed up the process! In 2016 I had a “stage 2” crate 350 from west coast engines installed, as well as a TCI 700r4 meant for an RV according to summit, it’s served me well...

I promise better pictures soon! I wasn’t prepared but didn’t want to say hello empty handed :happy160: Will be installing some ORD goodies to correct some geometry and strengthen things up and will follow up in another post!

Hey everyone! Just discovered this forum even though I’ve had my square since 2014. I can’t believe I’ve been missing out on such a wealth of knowledge! Anyway I’ll keep it short and include some pictures! It’s a 1984 K20 that’s fairly standard other than a lift that I’m correcting and some...
