I jacked it up to check if it had a locker or not then put one wheel on the ground like directed. And that aught to get better gas mileage. But with a 383 thats kinda out the window anyways lol.
Should I go ahead and but a 3.73 or something to know its new and not 36 yrs old?
What would you do?
Ok I did what the instructions said and when i had it jacked up and spun one wheel the other did nothing. Then went and spun the other wheel and it too spun the yolk but not the other wheel. Whats that mean?
And I got alil less than 1.75 turns out the yolk. That means I have 3.42 gears correct?
Was wanting to know what gear choices would have come in my truck from factory.
Its a 77 c10 shortbed that origionally came with a 6 cylindar. Not sure what trans im assuming it was the 350 turbo. I have the gm 12 bolt.
Can anyone give me what options come in it.
Cause you can get anything you need. But since your in NC Id look up Daves Truck Parts. Www.davestruckparts.net they are located in claremont, nc. They have everything that lmc has but shipping will prob be cheaper. Number is 828-695-8033
What kind of rims are those robert8096. I like the style and look they give the truck. And just seen you are from Goose Creek. I used to live in moncks corner
Wow you werent kidding about pricey. But the look pretty good. Deff gonna have to save up for these. Just gonna do LED's in the back. I think im gonna weld up my marker lights.
Real nice set up. Im doing away with the factory mounted brake lights . Are you putting yours in the roll pan.
And the lights i was gonna buy are in the lmc catalog . Its the strip with brake, turn and reverse lights in one.
Cool deal. Just not to sure about that work. But im sure a body shop can do it. Or I can try my hand at doing it. Was thinking the LED lights for that show truck look. But not sure if the strip would work properly or give off enough light
