6.2 For A Daily Driver? What Are The Downsides?
I have a 1983 Scottsdale 4 wheel drive with a 6.3, I got it 1989 it had got hit. I bought a brand new 6.2 from Chevrolet a 1990 still in the creat. 81 up dash pad anyone bought one recently
I bought one fromLMc it fit good no trimimg. I bought a speedometer cable, Speedometer and put in a new gear in transfer case and my speedometer still jumps up and down. I tried rerouting it several time but still jumps up and down. I disconnected the cable pulled it out in front of pickup... -
Whats the going rate for shortening a driveshaft? I think I got....shafted
wow, I have made at least 20 driveshafts and not had on problem with any of them. I used a piece of paper wrapped around it so the cut would be straight, drew a circle around the driveshaft used a hack saw, cut the end off and figured out how long it needed to be and did the same thing to cut...- Carbie
