Got the first start. Got it idling smoothly now. Bought a pedal from a 6.5 diesel OBS and repinned one wire and have a working throttle pedal. sent to autozone and found some radiator hoses that would work, had to trim them to fit. Went through he 8.1. Cleaned it up, new gaskets, new water pump, new PS pump, long tube headers, new starter, etc. Cleaned up the frame. Went through the wiring harness and removed unnecessary pins and cleaned up the harness. I'll be moving the battery to the driver's side. Cut the trans tunnel...- Meatwad

Update. The th400 started leaking pretty bad from the bell housing, instead of pulling it apart, I pulled it out, sold the 350/th400. Got a smoking deal on a complete 2003 8.1 and allison for the same price I sold the 350 for. Cleaned the front of the truck, got rid of the surface rust, waiting...- Meatwad

Crew cab SRW drum shoe size
I'm ordering parts to buy new drums and shoes for my 85 GMC C2500 Crew Cab SRW. It has a FF 14 bolt with 13" drums. I see there are 2 options. 2.5 inch wide shoes and 3.5 inch wide shoes? I cant dismantle the brakes right now to see which I have. Does anybody know which shoes I need to order? -

I found the perfect headers for 67/86 C10 K20
Bump. If anybody could answer, will these fit a 2wd? Not a lowered truck. Have a bad exhaust leak and figure itd be the perfect time to do headers and exhaust. Dont want to have clearance issues- Meatwad
