New guy from SC
Finally got the truck back from the trans shop. Had to get a full rebuild. Trans was trashed. Oh well onto the next item on the list. Prob have the engine gone through next as it seems to have no giddy up and go. 350 sb. After that probably a 4” lift with some 35” tires- cdmoore91

Looking for a stock 84 hood
Thank you! I will Give them a call tomorrow. I’ve looked on lmc but unsure about how the fitment will be. Id rather find an oem hood and I can have any body work done if need be -

I did t pay much attention when removing them like a dummy. The front bracket has two holes for the strap, so of course I tried the top one and the stud would hit the Frame and not line up with the hole that’s in the frame. So dropped the tank again and tried to get the strap to go into the... -

Ordered some new gas tank brackets off eBay and tried to install them last weekend. The new brackets don’t have nuts welded on the inside of bracket, and the holes also didn’t line up on the front bracket. Does anyone know of a place to order some oem style brackets? -

I currently have a cowl hood on my 84 k10 but I like the look of the stock hood. If anyone near the Charleston area has any leads on a oem hood i would appreciate it -

So the k10 I recently purchased had a bad transmission. It currently has the 700r4. From your experience is it better to have it rebuilt, or am I better off buying a reman from a company online? Any help is greatly appreciated it. Thanks Pic of truck for no reason at all- cdmoore91

Just picked this truck up from a guy out of Rocky Mount, NC. 1984 k10, 350 crate, 700r4 trans. Pretty new to all of this. I’d say the truck overall is a 5/10.
