A/C box removal. How to remove blind screw?
I used a 2” hole saw to the wheel well -
1983 c30 A/C Compressor Clutch
Sounds like high pressure, start with a lower charge. I would lean more to compressor failure than the clutch, contamination? Check inside the discharge hose from the compressor for contamination -
Wiper Pulse Module #15598496
Mine had issues from the factory. I was wondering and has already probably been answered. Can you bypass the module, will the male and female connections on the input and output simply plug together?- Finkaire

LMC Vent Window Rebuild
I passed on the windwings on advice. Trim painted SEM trim black, still get wind noise, not sure exactly what to do about that, maybe a shim of some sort.- Finkaire

My buddy only has use of his left hand and always needs help buckling in. I removed the holders years ago not liking having to slide over them. Not aclue whatever happened to them. -

Retrosound in both my squarebody and the Elcamino. Plug and play! Crutchfield comes with harness adapter, no cutting, no splicing. Im using and happy with the original speakers and later added a underseat subwoofer. Box up your original unit and tuck it away- Finkaire

I think that going as close to original is the best ticket. My truck was a peeler and also had no luster, almost a navy ship grey. Replaced ac evaporator now pressures are off
Pressure = temperature. Feel on both side of the orifice. One side cold, one side hot, low and high pressure. AC 101: does not get cold, takes heat away. You need air going through the condenser, make sure there is no restriction, the fan is working and there is a shroud -

Black death! You cannot flush a compressor or the accumulator. You can drain and refill, and yes. -
AC LOW SWITCH
The low switch is the cycling switch on the accumulator near the firewall. It is a 2 prong plug that can be inserted either way- Finkaire

Leaks are easy, seepage is another story. Seepage will show up as an oily spot. You don’t need dye unless you want to distinguish one oily spot from the AC to another. Look closely, inspect both sides of the condenser, all the lines, look up on the underside of the hood for spray coming from the... -

The pressure differential is at the orifice tube. One side from the condenser hot and the towards the evaporator cold. Low pressure, high pressure. Cold and hot. It sounds like either the orifice tube was left out or you have a bad pump. You mentioned a Sanden pump which normally would be found... -

Unless you plan on going racing the OE cast iron exhaust manifold is quiet, doesn’t leak and you don’t need to end wrench your spark plugs. IMHO- Finkaire

I agree with the resonators, I have three chamber Flowmasters. When I got them they were too loud, getting old I guess. Shop recommended in addition to the Flowmasters adding resonators and guaranteed I would be happy. The resonators they put on are what I believe and look like Glasspacks. That...- Finkaire
