Felpro Permatorque Severe duty head gaskets

its a 2bbl 305 with iron heads. I didnt check them for cracks, I could see where the old head gasket failed and where the previous owner had used the head gasket sealer quick fix it bottle and it sealed for a while, so I was assuming it wasnt cracked. I did check and they were flat within spec...

Felpro Permatorque Severe duty head gaskets?

Anybody ever use these? Any long term opinions? They seem pretty cool, like they would work good for an older engine that just needed head gaskets thanks

Thought I was done then the white smoke came

I'm gonna try to keep this thing running, it's my budget beater I have some dye pen and a uv light, but good idea with the pencil, that can check for flatness too It's how hard the pencil is, softer the darker/thicker lines, harder the thinner but lighter lines Nope it was running really...

    Another oil pressure gauge thread

thanks for the feedback I had tested the sending unit as you had described, which is why I started digging into the cluster, thats when I found that the resistor on the back was dead. When I run the engine and rev it, the resistance does move the way I think. I put on 1 twist of teflon tape...

    Another oil pressure gauge thread

Been reading a lot of other threads about these factory oil gauges and had some questions for you electrical gurus My original sender was leaking, so I replaced it with a 60psi unit from Rock Auto I replaced it, but gauge does not respond to the engine rev'ing, stays low at like 10-15psi...

Question for you all, So the previous owner of my truck torched the stock springs, and now every corner sits at a different height, Im trying to figure out where it should be and get an idea of what the stock height is. I measured from the centerline of the tire/wheels up to the fender arch...

    07 to 19 Yukon 2nd row bench

heck yeah, hopefully I can get you part or hopefully all the way there it is funny though to see the difference in design of these seats the new seats are super beefy and use giant bearing surfaces on the screws the old seats are pretty thin gauge brackets and 6 smallish (5/16?) screws

    07 to 19 Yukon 2nd row bench

Sure thing, yeah, the custom brackets are a bit of a challenge since these are split 60/40, but who knows if they come out clean enough, maybe I can sell the design to LMC or Squarebodysyndicate here is the the 40 split side of the seat next to the old bench from that the new bench can recline...

Where to find lower wind guide track/channel?

Yep, the one on my driver side is completely gone, not sure what happened, maybe they tried to force the window down and sheared the spot welds? Nah this thing is spot or plug welded to the inner door skin yeah drill time haha

    07 to 19 Yukon 2nd row bench

its pretty close, the lower cushion on the tahoe is flatter, so it doesnt have that sink into a soft couch type feel, but the low back support is better I'll get some comparison angles later on today or tomorrow

Where to find lower wind guide track/channel?

I have been looking all over, and cant find this part, its the lower channel that goes behind the arm rest I rolled down the window and the window fell off the rear channel, pulled apart the door and saw it was missing the channel its the one I am pointing to in the picture attached, but I...
