Trailer tires
age really has nuthin' to do with your toys, i bought my trailer in 2012 as well, Snake River, bought it to replace a smaller 6x8 US Cargo trailer, and even though i just suffered a major shoulder injury and may have to stop riding and give up my quad, i also intend to keep my trailer forever...- Rumbledawg

my flat deck quad trailer is almost the same size as your trailer (6x13) that came with crappy little 205's. they did alright for a few yrs, but with 3 quads and all our gear on it (approx 3800 lbs including trailer weight) they would sway or not track the best. i upgraded them to st225/75R15...- Rumbledawg

no, not zero rates some of us old timers that where building lifted trucks back in the '70's, '80's and '90's used to use what was called a traction lift. it was made by Trail Master. was basiclly a block about 12-14" long and had bars that wrapped around the springs at the ends. they are safe...- Rumbledawg

build your dream and who cares if you only street drive it. just look at slammed trucks that can't make it over a speedbump without re-arranging their sheet metal. i wouldn't exactly call that practical either. hate it when people say don't build this or build that, number 1, it's not their dime...- Rumbledawg

Flowtech headers, Super 40's. ya know your loud when people passing you are holding their ears... had my crewy since the '90's. when i bought it mileage was 91 000 miles. as of right now almost 30 yrs later it sits at 108 000 miles. thats approx 600 miles a year.....don't think i'm killing the...- Rumbledawg

my advice is prob what you don't want to hear, but my $0.02 on emissions. don't even talk to me about emission testing...grrr we used to have emission testing but they cancelled it in 2014-thank christ. for the super low miles i drive some of my trucks it was a total pia, as well as a $35 hit...- Rumbledawg

costs me around $900-$1300 per yr per vehicle depending on what coverage we buy. on my trucks i usually run basic and fire/theft and vandalism. getting caught with no insurance is like a $600 fine and your truck gets a free ride on the back of a wrecker...and if you happen to get in a MVA, no...- Rumbledawg

CUCV Brush Guard dimensions does anyone know them including the thickness of material?
they are very sturdy at a 1/4". start using 1/2" and your guard can end up weighing a couple hundred lbs. one issue with the stock cucv guards is along the front between the main uprights (first, second and third pic). they quite often bend there cause of the design. i needed room to put my 9"...- Rumbledawg

swaybars will help with body roll more than coil-overs. and there cheap. you will most likely haft to make drop brackets for the swaybar so it will reach your a-arms. i used a piece of 3" square tubing to lower my bar on my 8" lifted crewcab. weird your getting such massive amounts of roll. i...- Rumbledawg
