Had to order a radiator as the one I had don't fit, also ordered a set of headers. Got a rear bumper on it. It runs, moves, stops, turns, just needs the radiator and the exhaust to be drivable.

Got my 85 off to the transmission shop so they fix whatever it is that they got wrong on the bench rebuild. Hope to have it back midweek. Going to order a painless performance harness for the 1 ton next week. I did the same thing on my 79 c10 and its been awesome.

Got it to bark off by filling the float bowls. Has 30 psi oil pressure at idle and over 60 total under throttle. Should be a decent runner.

Looks like I need to find a transmission mount, still need alternator bracket, and an entire underhood rewire. Hope to get it together enough to see if it runs ok today. Still need to get some plugs to do that though.

Just got this for cheap. It was an aborted project. Plan to get it running and driving with as little cash as possible then slowly build it out for towing and hauling.

Going to have to redo mine again later. My welder is crap and just blows holes in thin sheet so I had to rivet a patch on for now. Bit at least it shouldn't leak for a few years.

    Vortex heads

Just like when they say ideal instead of idea. Or call a hand truck a "two wheeler" it's either inability to spell and pronounce words properly, autocorrect, or outright slang terms instead of actual part names.

Someone in the past used blue RTV to seal it then painted it over. Pressure washer reveales all.

This was caused by failed seam sealer. Leaking into the heater box and onto the passenger floor pan. Rotting it to the point where it too needs replaced.

Cut out the rust on the cowl yesterday evening. Will cut a patch panel out of the old cab and weld it in when I get another dry day that I get off work before dark. Or Saturday.
