8" lift help
What's the best way to go about this? The 78 K10 I just purchased has a 6" Rancho lift, spring front (48") and 4" blocks in the rear. My goal is to get about an 8 " lift and eliminate the rear blocks. I picked up a set of 56" rear springs that I believe are 6" lift. Would like to put these on...- WestCoaster

Cab swap?
thanks for the reply guys, i thought it was an easy swap. Wasnt really too worried about the vin plate since the guy selling the C20 said he had title and if they were both in my name I thought Id be ok. I guess it woulnt hurt to check with the local DMV to see the best way to handle it.- WestCoaster

Cab swap?
looking to do a cab swap on my 78 k10 1/2 ton with a donor cab off a 74 3/4 C10. This should be a simple bolt up right? Any thing I need to look for? Also does anyone know what the standard rear end was in a 74 C10? It looks like its a 14 bolt. Thanks for any help- WestCoaster

What have you done to your square lately??
Replaced the upper and lower ball joints last night, cleaned up the spindles and put in new bearings. That should tighten her up a little bit!- WestCoaster

Hi everyone, my current build is a 78 K10 1/2 ton. The plan is to do a complete frame off resto. Body is super straight with little or no rust (typical westcoaster) in the first week ive pulled the front clip and all running gear.
