    Okay drill a small hole at the back of the crack like the drawing (frankenchevy), than you for that by the way. Weld the crack then plate it. Should I will it on both sides of the crack or that's not necessary since I'm adding a plate?

    The truck was in an accident back in 97, but it was never inspected closely, just a few parts were Changed and painted. I believe this is were that stems from. But not too sure.

    This looks fantastic, from what I'm gathering, primer is a go AS long as all the preparation, cleaning is done prior to the first spray of anything.

    Other than having it dipped I have not found anything on the market that has the same luster as actual chrome.

    Ordering a different color is a good idea, i didn't think of that, so I did look on Edelbrocks website and the Aluminum is the only option available.

    Nice Job and valid point on painting it. The Aluminum is always a great look but it won't stay that way especially if its a driver and not a show piece.

    I do like the aluminum look however I am going with a gloss black and red paint scheme. Below is what I want to duplicate. The engine compartment will also be red with a black frame.

    Yup hopefully I measured correctly and ordered the correct pushrods. Time will tell. Keep everyone posted.

    Okay, that makes sense thank you for the follow up, and feedback. The rocker arms in the kit I purchased are self aligning so all i need now is the right length pushrods. Any suggestions on where I can unload the pushrods and cam that I can't use (besides craigslist and ebay) they both are new.

    Okay, so I need to order a push rod measuring tool, I however I don't have the the old pushrods. And the comp cam kit i bought the pushrods are 7.25 and are way to short. I am using vortec heads on 350 SBC. Any suggestions.
