Exhaust pipe bracket
Instead of welding in brackets/hangers, I decided to run an aluminum angle from one side to the other and bolt my hangers to that. I’ll trim the hangers down. Does anyone see an issue with that?- Rich77

Anyone run 18” on your 2WD?
I just plan to tool around and smoke some rubber. I decided on: 295/45/18 rear on 18x9.5 245/40/18 front on 18x8 I’ll post some pics when it’s together.- Rich77

Anyone run 18” on your 2WD?
Hello Everyone, My truck is a ‘77 C10 with a 2/4 drop. This is the wheel and tire combo I’m thinking of using. 285/60/18 rear with 18x9.5 245/60/18 front with 18x8 Does anyone think there’s an issue with that height of tire?- Rich77

Bolt pattern adapter
Are there any sites that sell wheels that fit squarebodies but will list wheels outside of the factory perameters? Some of them do, but not very well. Such as, why would a website say that a 18 X 9 1/2 wheel with 5x5 bolt pattern, 5.5” Bs, and 3.3”CBD not fit a 1977 Chevy C10? Is it just...- Rich77

I did get it running last night. I had this feeling that it was a fuel issue. I started tinkering with the carb fuel bowl levels. When I cranked them way down, it would fire and keep running. Bolt pattern adapter
Hello, Have any of used bolt pattern adapters? How do they hold up? Are there downsides to using them? I want 17x8 up front. That’s not a problem. I want 17x10 in the rear. I can’t get the rims I like in a 5x5(127). I can get them in a 5x114.3. Thoughts?- Rich77

Alright, I turned it over to tdc again. The rotor was 180 (but that doesn’t mean it actually is 180). So I pulled the distributor and reset it again. I ran a wire from the ign on the board in the cab to the coil +. I had 12v at the coil + when I used my meter on the coil + and the - distributor harness ground connected to the frame. I pulled no1 spark plug. I turned it over and had spark on the head. I reinstalled no1 spark plug. I tried...- Rich77
