New th700 installation
No directions on how to adjust just say that you can. Guess I’ll try all the way in then all the way out to see what way to go. I think I’ll add a switch also to shut lockup off completely when necessary. Joel- 85 square

New th700 installation
Hi joe. My shift points are good. I think it’s locking to soon, do I turn the screw clockwise or counter clockwise to slow down lockup? Right now it locks as soon it hits 4th unless I mash the throttle an it kicks into second or third. Correct me if I’m wrong... the purpose of the switch is to...- 85 square

I just got a th700 in my 85 c10. Changed from a th350c. The factory wiring was not compatible so I had to install a tci lock up harness. It includes a vacuum switch that I’m not sure the purpose of. It has a screw to adjust but I’m not sure what to do with it. I would think it should disconnect...- 85 square

Lower or not?
Thank you for your opinions. That’s what I was looking for. The truck will be my daily driver in the summer and won’t see much work at all. My plan is replacing my 2012 mustang gt I drive for fun before I kill myself or lose my license. I have a 2014 2500 diesel that I’ll use for big hauling...- 85 square

Lower or not?
So I picked this up over the winter and have been doing some work to get it the way I want it. I put all new front suspension and steering as it was all original and this is how she sits now. You’ve got that right. I believe the original owner had it all installed by the dealer before delivery. It had a bar style grill also. Along with a dent in the fender you can see from this picture.- 85 square

Thanks for the input guys. I think I’ll fix only what needs to be fixed for now. Worry about getting it running the way I want for now. I already have all new front suspension and steering installed.
