Correct me if I am wrong but, doesn't adding back the plastic piece on the striker (or a piece of pex) fix the issue?

just added flip kit and truck rides rough in the rear, Help!

Did you remove the bumps stops? If it is sitting on them (or close) it's going to hit and ride rough. Pics of the rear axle/frame area could help us.

    Ford infotainment into 79 c10

Doubt any of it would work. You'd need the control module(s) as well. You'd probbaly be better off askign on a Ford forum to see what parts would be needed.

Want to bag 79. But also want to keep it around stock.

If you do the work yourself it'd probbaly be around $2,000. Just rough guessing. How much are you wanting to be able to lower it for cruising? If it's just an inch or two you could do that with spindles up front and shackles in the rear for a few hundred and it really won't change the ride so...

I need help choosing a route for restoring my frame

When we did thge frame up on ours we sanded/wire wheeled it then POR15 Metal Prep then POR15. At the time (early 2020) it was about $1000 to have it blasted and powder coated and I wish we had done it that way just because all of the time we spent. But it gave me and my daughter a lot of time...

    Craziest antitheft idea yet.

Apple Airtag or Andriod Tile. No need to worry about charging them. Of course, there are also GPS trackers that you can permanently install as well and use software to locate.

    Wheel and tire size help!!

Depends...Are you using the truck for serious truck things or just cruising? These trucks are not very heavy and car tires would be fine.

    Craziest antitheft idea yet.

If they want it they will get it no matter what you use to stop them. For most thieves if it isn't easy they will go on their way, they don't want to get caught so the simple starter kill is good enough.

    Fresh oil

As you've seen, it's a pretty good drive. We did take it out this weekend and it, as always, was a fun drive. Only put about 40 miles on it but it was a good 40 miles.

Help me out of this rabbit hole ! Lowering, wheels, backspacing, tire sizing - help !

Rubbing: Rear you will be 100% fine. Fronts you shuld be ok as well since you're wheel/tires will be inboard more than mine are. You're setup is a total of 2" taller than mine so it'll sit 1" higher into the fender, but without the spacers pushing them out you shouldn't rub. More than...
