    Fuel line knock/hammer/noise

Sorry for the delayed response. Yes, they are on the firewall and run with the cab harness over the hvac box and travel past the blower and into the inner fender to the chassis to avoid heat

    Fuel line knock/hammer/noise

I wish. I checked it all front to back. Its like its amplified through the dash. I plan to take all of the clamps off tomorrow and keep them off the cab and see if that helps. I cant find online where anyone has had this issue before

    Fuel line knock/hammer/noise

Ive finished the stainless braid ptfe line install for my fitech supply and returns. Now ive got a horrible knock noise and chatter going on. It sounds like a loose overhead in a diesel engine and a spun rod bearing (if thats any help). I swear i can hear the injectors hitting there seats at...

    Blown head gasket questions

If the exhaust is a true dual setup, and has cats, would a plugged or restrictive cat cause a exhaust temperature drop? That will make the white steam/condensation. I might be overthinking this one lol

    Anyone know to install

Parker hose designed them for high pressure with no clamps from my understanding. Used them alot in my line of work over the years. Ive never known there to be pex style clamps to be obtained. Ive only seen them on oem assembled components. I found them and the AN fitting fuel sender/pump hanger...

    Anyone know to install

Those sending units are rated for efi and came from an 87 as well as the selector valve. (Also rated for efi by pollack). The clamps im using are stainless and that is gates barricade efi and e85 rated hose. The selector valve is covered by the factory shield and i fabricated one for the hoses...

    Anyone know to install

Yes i had functional dual tanks from the factory. As long as you plumb in between the carb and selector valve, it will work just fine. Ive got efi now and still run the factory dual tanks and switch. You can see that on the youtube video i made last week.

    Anyone know to install

I ran a low pressure pump for about 5 years when i had a carb. I used an in line filter between the tank selector valve and the pump. I located the pump in the frame rail on the passenger side as close to the tank valve as possible. The closer to the tank and lower you can place the pump, the...

What have you done to your square lately??

I had the tank very low during the time i let the truck just sit the last few years. I was too dumb to verify the pump worked on that side and filled it up, then checked. I deserve the struggle this time.

What have you done to your square lately??

Finshed the plumbing of all the new fuel injection lines and made a custom heat shield for the connections at the drivers side tank. Saldy after testing for leaks i found my driver side pump is no count. Looks like ill be going backwards again. Good times!

Fitech pressurized fuel filter replacement options

Im thinking it would be a good time to replace this filter with a new system being fitted currently. This is the filter under pressure just before the pressure regulator/throttlebody. The current filter came from Fitech, but the exact one is no longer shown on their website or any other for that...

85 K20 4X4 6.0 6L80E swap. What are my fuel delivery options. Rear tank?

Ive got the 87 tanks and pollack FI rated valve in my 84. My only issue was the lines failing after about 5 years. Folks up here turned me to the gates barrier hose thats supposed to be tough. Im running short sections of that from the sending unit ports and the selector valve ports. Then...
