    Temperature Sending Unit

    You do not that all the senders are not the same. They vary by year so your sender needs to match the year of your gauge. You can tell the correct sender by reading resistance values. I do not have them memorized. Found it for you.

    Blown head gasket ?

    You may not have a blown head gasket. Which is why several posts back I recommended an oil change,drive it and look for symptoms. Also recommended compressed air in cylinders one at a time as this would introduce far more air than cranking the engine will.

    The performance Rams horns won't work on a square,if that's why you were going to rams horns. The ones you want for performance are 2.5 diameter and shoot straight down. The angled Rams horns are 2 inch.
