Temp gauge wire location
I have a 77 k20. The previous owner switced the temp gauge to a mechanical gauge and cut the wire for the electrical gauge. I had to get a new cluster and found the proper 77 cluster. I know the wire should be green but could not locate it under the hood. I checked the instrument cluster...- Sam414

Switching from mechanical to electrical gauges
First time posting here. I have a 77 k20 that I am working on. The gauge cluster was damaged and the temp gauge had been replaced with an after market mechanical gauge. I bought a replacement cluster from, I am guessing a 78 or 79 which has an electrical oil gauge. My 77 had a mechanical oil...- Sam414
