That was kinda what I was figuring... Do you happen to know if the oil pressure sending unit's are pretty homogeneous, or is it like the temp sending units with 4 different varieties?

There is no smoke after the initial exhaust cloud, but there is a bit of slight odor of something burning. Oil pressure goes up slightly under higher RPM. When cold or higher RPM, it goes to about 15, when it's hot it drops to about 10.

Just wanted to post some additional info. After initially working okay, the gauge went back to infinite hot again. I pulled the Instrument cluster, cleaned and re-bent all the clips(so they didn't jiggle on the circuit). Cleaned the ground contact and the circuit board harness contacts too...
As of right now, all original factory smog stuff is bolted in place, possibly even functioning. :) My eventual plan was to leave the EGR as it supposedly improves mileage a bit, and delete the AIR system, while adding a new Catalytic converter.
