Older flat tappet cam engines, what oil do you use?
I just filled my Goodwrench 350 up with v1r, I had read it was good for flat tappets, but since then I've read some things saying it wasn't really that great and didnt have the zddp levels i need. Now I'm confused.- bwh998

Do carb trucks have an in-tank fuel pump?
I have an 84 model suburban with the 5.7. It has the mechanical fuel pump on the block but does it have any kind of electric pump in the fuel tank? It seems like that's a long ways for the little mechanical pump to suck fuel from.- bwh998
