rebuild 700r4 or 4180e for my carb-350 sbc
Time to make a decision - My 700r4 has no reverse. I heard that while 700r4 were tough and long geared. The 4180 is more efficient and lasts longer. If forced to do rebuild/replace what would you do? Hi everyone! New to the forum, just Picked up a black 1987 Silverado Suburban. It’s got a rebuilt 350 sb - 700r4 transmission. 4x4 w/ 1 ton axles. It’s kind of a mystery truck!
