    Why The 180's in Fuel and Return Lines

    Both the fuel and return lines make a sharp 108 degree bend at the front of the frame. Is there a purpose for those?? Or just a routing necessity due to the position of the fuel pump connections ?

    Now that I have replaced the fuel hard line to the pump, I have ANOTHER leak, in the RETURN line...... And, of course, it is right at or under the motor mount frame plate........... GRRRRRRRRRRRR This one is gonna get a rubber hose replacement...... I swear, this thing is wearing me down.........

    Gas Gauge Off The Deep End

    Is there any reason not to connect the fuel pump to the carb with rubber fuel hose? I converted my 84 C10 to a later model 350 and put all serpentine driven accessories on the front.     Door Skin Sound Deadening

    As I have the windows out of my '84 C-10 in preparation for installing single pane glass, the time is right to apply sound deadening mat to the inside of the skins. Is it necessary to cover the entire inner surface as much as possible, or will strips with spaces in between do the trick?

    The OEM deck had steel spacers thru the wood deck at the mounting bolts. The holes I bored in my white oak bed boards are off location a tad, enough to prevent me from installing those spacers. I believe that those spacers insure a good solid fastening of the bed cross braces to the chassis...

    Seems like a simple question: 1984 C-10 gas engine. How is the dual tank switching valve grounded?? Only thing I can see is that the valve is grounded thru the gauge sending unit?? Doesn't make much sense to me. But I have pored over the schematics ans I can see NO ground wire anywhere...

    Maple For Truck Bed

    It is gettin to the time when I have to consider what wood to use in the bed of my '85 C-10 Short Bed Step Side. I got a line on some maple......... Any thoughts or suggestions? The truck is going to live in a garage when not being driver.
