Replacement pad/barrier that goes under the carpet.

If you had a big rain, you may have gotten water in through the passenger side vent. My 85 leaks in heavy rain.

    Motor problems

White smoke indicates you are getting water into the combustion chambers. Maybe blown head gasket.

If you are building a giant killer, you need the 205. You will need to specify the transmission you have.

    K20 '82 350 Performance Engine Parts

As they said. Know what you have and what you want. Make a plan. Then get the parts that make it work. My 85 is stock with headers. It runs fine and I am ok with it at this point. My Evo Harley is not stock. I spent a lot of time planning what I wanted and then I built it. It is now a bit...

    Please help!!! Clutch/Tranny Issues

Welcome to GM's wonderful hydraulic clutch. You will need someone to verify how much travel you have at the slave cylinder when the pedal is pushed. I have found that the hydraulic clutch is difficult to bleed. If bled correctly, you will feel some resistance. As for not finding a gear. Sounds...

    Vent window gasket placement?

I have a dumb question, are you doing this with the vent installed on the door or removing the vent window?

Hvac stuff from 85 with ac

Looks right. My GMC was a heat only model. I had an aftermarket unit installed back in 88 or 89. At this point in time, I think the best repair at this point is to go back to oem with an AC unit. It will be easy enough to get hoses made to fit my compressor. Heater hoses should not be a problem...

    Engine Noise - Any ideas?

I guess you could remove the rocker arm and pull the push rod and lifter. Maybe you have just bent a pushrod.

    Heavy vibration when accellerating slowly

No expert here but I think you are correct about the transmission. Not sure why it vibrates but sounds like any real movement of the gas pedal disengages the issue. I assume this model has a lock up torque converter?

    Hello from Maryland

Welcome! Both trucks are nice. The suburban is really nice. The 84 is nearly like my 85.

What he said. If the battery is low, the voltage you are seeing while the engine is running is not uncommon. Good luck.

    K10 w/ 327 needs new trans?

Sounds like a nice truck so far. Do you know what the transmission is? A four speed is always fun. If it is an SM465 then it is a great transmission but, it is a slow shifting gearbox compared to most other four speeds. If you like manuals, keep what you have. If you don't like shifting, go...
