    Is this a correct bracket?

Hey Travlr. I saw your post then saw this one. Thread 'Power Steering Pump Reservoir Adjustment' https://www.gmsquarebody.com/threads/power-steering-pump-reservoir-adjustment.41147/ Shows a new rebuilt pump like your old one. You can see its part number too. Hope this helps a bit.

Another speedometer thread, stopping and asking questions before I mess something up.

The other thing that maybe causing the issue is the nut holding the output yoke to the output shaft has worked loose, this holds the speedo drive gear on the shaft. See items 19 and 20. That nut has to be torqued up real good. This is for a 2wd version.

    Clutch size

Yeah I had the same problem, I bought an aftermarket one and trimmed and redrilled the holes in the plate for it to fit. Not what I wanted to do, but I couldnt find the part number either! I think it was this Pn 6263757 ? for bellhousings, 460486 and 6262756 bell housings. Here is a fleebay...

Does anyone know any specifics on this truck????

Im assuming the 305 had an electric carb on it like the M4ME with dancing needles in the primaries. That system worked quiet well it closed loop to get the best MPG with careful driving, I had the same setup in my 84 Monti Carlo SS. I did transplant a 4L60 into it for the overdrive gear (much...

    Clutch size

If you go to the 12" check you have the correct bellhouse to accomodate the bigger clutch. See the 4 to 8 o'clock position has the big step for the bigger clutch. These come in hydraulic or mechanical setup.

    NV4500 + 12” clutch and pressure plate???

Dont know if this will work with your setup, but I have used the 15530202 Bellhousing off the later SM465 with hydraulic clutch which is for a 12" clutch. I believe it fits the NV4500? looking at the trans mount holes Notice the bigger lower clutch disk area bulge for the 12", its basically...

    Rockauto 14bolt ring and pinion

Hi everyone. I recently ordered a 3.21 ratio ring and pinion for my 14 bolt full floater of my 76 C20. I have a 454ci and an SM465 so I want higher gearing for the highway. pulls to right quickly if you let go wheel, zero tire wear for 18yrs.

Greyghost. I had something like this happen to me years ago on my old 76 c20 square. It turned out to be the flex hose between the frame and rh front brake caliper had gone bad. It caused that caliper not to release properly. Diagnosed by cracking the blead nipple to release the pressure on the...

    New Aussie square body owner

Wz7u, Im doing a resto mod on my 76 C20. Its got a 454 and sm465 in it, and will have a 59 Apache stepside body on it. It started its life as a GM Holden RHD import from the US. So it always was a factory RHD, but manual steering, I just finished converting to power. That is a whole nother story.

@AuroraGirl. What I meant was, you may even use Low, if you got 3.21 rear gears. Mind you heavy as, also works! Lol
