What have you done to your square lately??

It's too bad Harbor Freight went all Hollywood with their welders, I really like mine, and it was only 250 bucks.

    Oil Pressure sending unit

Correct, I have the spade one, I'm just curious if it actually reads any different.

    Oil Pressure sending unit

Can they be mismatched? I have a 90 cluster and a 79 sending unit for a gauge. It's the correct sending unit for a gauge, but not what shows on Rockauto for a 1990 R1500 Suburban. I have part number PS 154. Rockauto says a 1990 takes part number PS 262.

Yeah, I can pick up my stepside bed by myself with no fenders lol.

    New new guy

Cool! Welcome! As to the title, they generally type down whatever I say lol. I don't lose alot of sleep when I get a weird one as long as the VIN matches the dash.

What have you done to your square lately??

Ordered new plugs and wires, that's all I need to fire the engine, and some oil and credits to unlock the ecm.

What have you done to your square lately??

What did you use to make your crimps? I'm going to need to make quite a few cables here shortly for my solar and my C10. I had Coconut help me install coil packs and injectors.

Some of my daily, 2500HD 8.1

Friday I was sitting at my desk and all the lights went out at 10 am lol, guess they called it a day early, so I took the opportunity to get out on the trail and enjoy the weather a bit. The lack of front travel is pretty uncomfortable, but otherwise Clifford did well way offroad.

    79 Trans am

I wire brushed, degreased with Acetone, and painted it on the inside of my cab on my C10 and it flaked off sitting in storage lol.

What have you done to your square lately??

Yeah I was thinking of actually cutting a hole, and setting the real hitch inside of it, and letting the whole thing tilt down.

Yeah, there's some brand loyalty, there's also that alot of things get restored then sit in garages so it seems to hold up fine, and there's probably some people unwilling to admit they paid alot for something and it failed. I've personally gone to Rustoleum Heavy Rust primer, I let it dry a...

I've used it on rust... I've used it on bare metal etched with their stuff, I've used it every way people say to use it after the last way I used it crackles and peels. I just use paint now, seems to work fine.

What have you done to your square lately??

I'm going to have to do this on my 2500HD when I get around to it. The flipdown bracket is what's been holding me up, I wanted to be sure to get something durable because that thing will definitely get beaten. Do you reach under the bumper to put the pin in?

I've had far worse luck with POR15 and the like than I have with normal paint.

    What tools to remove cluster?

Got it, they were some weird size like 11/32, fortunately the dollar store had one of those crappy 1/4 prebroken socket sets.

    What tools to remove cluster?

I'm going to swing by the dollar store and grab a "driver" for a buck I think and give it a whirl, I don't even know if the thing is there, I just know the vehicle is.

    What tools to remove cluster?

So, I need some hand holding here. I'm at work, I'm a little over an hour from home, and the Upull here has a 90 Suburban with the electronic dash I need for my LS swap. I've just been driving around with no dash because I don't want to pay 150 for one lol. But for 25 bucks, I'll take it...

    For all you cap people.....

I think the original one posted is a fleetside sitting on some kind of tapered base. All the stepper one's I've seen have a kickout to match the width of the cab, but otherwise match the width of the bed. Also, that fiberglass type didn't become common until the 90's.
