    You're back-feeding from your alternator to the ignition. You can connect a diode in the sensing line to prevent it. But being as it's a new alt I'd say something is wrong with voltage regulator itself.

    Lmc is probably best quality based on other things I've gotten from them. I have no experience with their doors but everything else was very good. That said i've fitted 3 sets of aftermarket doors from different manufacturers and all were terrible

    Springs might be different but with the age on the truck they are probably shot anyway I'd do springs and shocks all the way around. And rear end is the exact same. with that said the i6 to v8 weight difference is so minor I wouldn't bother changing suspension if everything is in decent shape
