same for me this kit is the only one "hot rod style" cross bar i know... but 45 years of expérience can't lie! ;) what type of paint you suggest for frame and kit will be best for durability? estimate for power coating is $600!!! this is not a show truck.....good strong industrial paint will be...- TPISly-C10

Remove speedometer needle or sync new odometer
when a swap my mecanical speedo for an electric coming from Gvan the C10 needle broke easely....but the Gvan electronic can be remove gentlely and put back with my old C10 faceplate! ;)- TPISly-C10

for me its was easy en not so expensive..yes i do all the swap my self include wiring! so this my cost: LQ4 6L 2004 $500 tax in (kenny-U-pull) 4L80E 2006 $198 tax in (Kenny-U-pull) Tejas Steel work motor mounts $100 Wiring harness and PCM $0 (old scrap '99 GMC lying aroud my brother garage)...- TPISly-C10

can't stand any more of my rear leaf springs suspension, they are old and soft, i really want a rear 4 links cover swap! after a long search on the web i finaly got 2 choices: a bolt on kit or weld on kit! Best bolt on kit for my taste and need is the TCI kit for square body, its simple built...- TPISly-C10

Aluminum Silverado wheels
aluminum moldings is way more thin, then you need to take good care not to go too hard on those, a 1500-2000 wet sand paper maybe and aluminium polish like Autosol or Mother ect....is a good way to do it! :)- TPISly-C10

What should I include in my emergency tool set?
LS serpentine belt with 15mm tool to change it, hydrolic jack and tool to change wheel, big strap, frew other tool, wise grip, cutter, some spare wire and fuses ect... ;)- TPISly-C10
