Saw my first new Corvette today.
I haven't seen a new vette yet either but Lambos, Ferrari, Lotus, Maserati, etc are all over the place by me. There is a Ferrari dealership down the street. I'll take my squarebody over one of those any day! Unless it's free, then I'll sell it and buy tons of squares! lol- TubeTruck

Yup, the 2005 UAK10. That's what I was basing my '79 off of. Unfortunately a lot of info about that truck is gone. Since 4Wheel & Offroad is gone those articles have disappeared. There are remnants here and there but nothing of what there used to be.- TubeTruck

As I was trying to figure out why my dome lights don't work I came across this above the headliner. Is it factory? (The styrofoam insulation that is) Then I found this under the dash. It looks like a little speaker. No idea what it goes to though. Any ideas? -

A full trim BBC weighs 650-700#. That's with cast heads, cast intake, manifolds, carb, fuel pump. A full trim SBC weighs about 500-550# -
80's Wiper technology sux
I think it's a wiper motor off a 2015 style Chevy 1500. Probably with a custom arm and bracket, which would be easy to fabricate. It's in this video, if you can pause it and make out the p/n on the motor. Article here...- TubeTruck

I've done a 64" swap before and it makes the truck ride like a caddy and super flexy. You will definitely need longer shocks. When doing the shackle flip make sure you position the rear hangar so the shackle is a hair rearward of straight down. Make sure your driveshaft has enough compression...- TubeTruck

Replaced the thermostat in the 'burb today. The old one was stuck open. Got an oil change lined up for when we get a hint of sun. -

Razor blade and paint thinner to remove sticker
I use a rubber eraser wheel in a drill. Cheap and works good, just don't sit in one spot too long. I took off the dealer sticker, the 4x4 stickers, and the sticky foam from when I took my door guards off my trucks.- TubeTruck
