Which wire do I need to tap into?

I already checked the side of the transmission, I figured it could quite possibly have one on the drivers side, but nothing.

Which wire do I need to tap into?

The yellow comes all the way from the ignition switch and is the one hanging. As for the purple, I don’t see the purple coming from the ignition switch. Looks like 8 wires from the ignition switch?? 2 red, 2 orange 1 pink, 1 DK BWN/Black, 1 Brown w/ white stripe, 1 Yellow (the wire going to...

Which wire do I need to tap into?

That’s the problem, those yellow and purple wires are not connected to the neutral safety switch. They are hanging under the dash and the truck functions perfectly... someone before me stripped the cab out to put all new floors and a front cowl. When they put it back together, they left the...

Which wire do I need to tap into?

I was thinking the same thing, there has got to be something from the ignition switch that I could tap into. I was thinking it was the yellow wire, but the yellow wire is the one hanging free under the dash not hooked to anything...

Which wire do I need to tap into?

The goal is to find this neutral safety switch or so I can tie a kill switch into the wire. I can’t start the truck in gear which tells me there is some type of safety. I will probably end up doing what Bextreme04 suggested since I can’t find the safety switch that is hidden somewhere in the truck.

Which wire do I need to tap into?

Just dropped the column, there is nothing going on with any jumper wires. All the wires go down the harness. What is this deal on the left side of the column up under the dash?

Which wire do I need to tap into?

I got a long lost neutral safety somewhere guys. I just tried cranking it in gear and the key won’t roll forward unless I am in Park or neutral... this is strange considering I left the stock safety switch unplugged... I think I am discovering someone else’s anti theft attempt... I have not...

Which wire do I need to tap into?

Well snap. I’ve been looking for some time and couldn’t find anything. I think I will drop the column down and continue my search. Nothing obvious is going on, I’m lost. Thank you all for the info, I will let you all know what I find after I get a better view of what’s happening on top of the...

Which wire do I need to tap into?

So I guess I’m not too concerned about the neutral safety dealio, I just don’t know what to do about my kill switches.. I really wanted to cut power to the starter. Any other ideas? I’m not a fan of cutting spark because the engine will still crank and I would rather not lead a potential thief on.

Which wire do I need to tap into?

Well to add to the confusion... it definitely fires, just tested it for giggles and grins haha. just stripped the tape from the harness and see nothing ridiculous. No splices or anything. That yellow wire comes all the way from the ignition switch, down the harness and is just hanging out...

Which wire do I need to tap into?

I knew it was for neutral safety, but I see no jumpers. I am so confused... unless this buckle completes the function? This is a 79 Sierra if it helps.

Which wire do I need to tap into?

Hey guys, I am attempting to wire in a kill switch to the starter solenoid, but needed some opinions first. Which of these wires from the ignition switch are of interest? I was leaning towards that yellow one, but I am not sure. Also, a side note.. what’s up with these two plugs that are...

Those tires look great! Nice set up, I love it! I will probably just leave my set up the way it is. It is fully functional if driven right. I would like to do 10’s and 305’s. The 305’s that I’ve seen are way too knobby, not my style on a a lowered truck. Plus I am nothing short of rough on my...

the wheels are 16x8 on the rear w/4” bs and 1.25” spacers. I am considering doing 16x10 wheels w/ 5” bs which would probably be the ideal fit, but the 285 would definitely look too skinny on it. The side wall just looks like a pencil eraser rubbed it, no scoring to speak of.

I aired up the airlines and it helped the rubbing issue, but now it is a bit too raked for me... still looks mean, but I think I’m going to run no air in the shocks and have the occasional rub hahah.

You got me!! I acquired the hubcaps AFTER I bought my wheels. I wanted to run 16’s with half ton center caps, problem is I accidentally bought 3/4 ton caps and I needed to get creative. I traced the hubcap onto the wheel where I wanted it to center up and then I used them conduit hold downs and...

I want to see some lowered 3/4 tons

Thanks! I agree. Wheel wells are pretty wide, I kinda gambled with the spacers and the 285’s, but it worked. It does rub on one side barely if I load it down. I just put new air lines in the air shocks so I figured I could keep a little pressure in them at all times to reduce the axle travel. My...

I want to see some lowered 3/4 tons

Thanks haha. I kinda like it. Might still play around with a wider front tire, but we will see.
