Rear Axles, What Changed in 1977 ?

Sorry I've been out for a while.. I meant in all the squares the front is a wider track width. You can see it when your riding behind em. They look like they crabwalk a little since your looking down the drivers side. And I understand and agree that gm used a bunch of the same parts for many...

    Painting Door Panels

I second the krylon fusion on plastic. Ive used it for years on multiple RC cars that spend all their time in the dirt with 4 wheels spinning. Most resilient plastic paint I've found. Let me say this clearly, cure time its a big factor. Give it time to totally harden. I paint multi million...

Rear Axles, What Changed in 1977 ?

Just saying and not trying to sway your opinion but having a rear narrower than the front will give you a better turning radius.

1986 K5 Grille and Headlight Swap

I just did a 78 to 84 front clip on a K-5 I sold my buddy. I was like all square bodies are the same and was so wrong. The core support you go with should dictate which headlight style you're going to be able to run to an extent. Unless you get into some fabrication. Unfortunately I can't give...

    Rear Wheel is Stuck !!

My advice is to walk away and let a friend try. Dont look at what he's doing. You probably dont want to know. I'd have issues sometimes like that and call the old man to help. He usually sent me away for a second to take care of whatever it was. I finally asked him why one day and he said, "I...

    Suburban Rear Cargo leaks

I used a bit of Storm Blaster over the top edge of the seals on the outside because I had a couple of drips coming in. Seemed to work. I heard the seals may be hard to get to replace. I never researched it further. Just got out the caulking.
