1973 K20 4x4 - Engine dies when AC turned on

It should have a fast idle solenoid mounted on the carb to speed the idle up 300 rpm or so when ever the ac compressor is energized. I got one made by Edelbrock.

I think I just got screwed. Advice?

I've been reading this thread since day one. I respect everybody's opinions but was most enlightened by the shop owners and ones who are in the know. My conclusions are, the op couldn't have possibly gotten screwed, it didn't cost him a cent. His parents blessed him. The mystery nut came about...

I love that rig man! And third on the flexi-fan. They tested fans on an episode of Engine Masters and the flex fans if I remember correctly robbed 12 or 15 hp compared to no fan mounted. Clutch fans were much better.

When it's 100 and humid and ac running mine will run 180-190 going down the road, in stop and go city traffic it creeps up to 200. 350, stock clutch fan new radiator and 180 degree tstat.

Ultra rare collectible square body trucks?

We need to find that thread and revive it! And also the the center console butthurt crybaby and the snowflake that drove a long distance in second gear or maybe didn't, and introduce those fucktards to the liberal bag of shit with all the political memes. They could have crying sessions together...

    Steering arm cone washer removal

Mine were pretty rusty but eventually gave up the ghost. I hit them from different angles and cussed at them a lot. I kept the nuts on the studs though and didn't damage the studs. I was told the cone washers were next to impossible to find but apparently that's not true. Good luck.

Ultra rare collectible square body trucks?

People will say there is no such thing as a rare Squarebody and I say while that may be true there are rare options. A thread yesterday about the NP833 tranny optioned trucks comes to mind. In Eastern NC I've never seen a crew cab square or a long bed stepper. My K10 is the only NP833 optioned...
