What have you done to your square lately??
I am away from my truck right now unfortunately, but from the research I have done last night and this morning, if this is from an adjustment to the TV cable, shifting hard in to 2nd gear is not bad for the transmission necessarily. -

Thanks Andy. Could this have anything to do with TPS sensor and/or IAC valve? I replaced these early on in the dive in to this all, before the TBI was rebuilt. Do I need to set base idle? Should I do the A-B port jump trick on OBD1 to get the IAC valve needle where it needs to go?...or is it too... -

Would the 700R4 change gears at different RPM with intake bolts tightened? Would it be possible to over torque intake bolts? Or am I way off here? -

I just learned it is actually a 1976. 13 footer. Apparently 13 ft. was the most abundantly manufactured. Not 100% certain but I think it is a Sport 13 model.- JamesSam

Not exactly a sick toy, but certainly will be very fun for the family. Completely redone 1979 Boston Whaler. Just a 25 HP Mercury motor, enough for thousannds of hours of fun. The wife and kids went down to the bay for spring break today and I am meeting them there tomorrow. Plans to get to try...- JamesSam

Hey Darren! That's awesome you are down to graduation weight! Very nice that it helps with your wifes skin. My wife and I do this once or twice a year just to reset our bodies. I usually only do the initial 30 but my wife will go 60-90 most times. I loose 10 lbs everytime without any extra... -

Drove it a bit today: grocery run, kids wanted McDowells for lunch. Took my daughter to a friend's house and picked her up. In between places i put a half bottle of Lucas Transmission fix in. Picked it up from the shop today. It was ready yesterday but got parked in after the shop closed by some careless so and so. Begrudgingly the wife and I had to leave it in the lot. The in-laws happened to stop by the house this afternoon and offered to take me to the truck. It is running good... -

New gaskets and TBI hardware finally came in an the TBI was rebuilt, solid this time around with no leaks. The injectors were spraying very healthily. The truck revvved up great in the driveway. On the test run it started out with some sputtering and hopes were that it would work out. About 1/4... -

Picked up as close to a match as the local hardware store could get. They are not exact lengths and the heads and washers are not exactly the same size either. If need be I will saw down to necessary length. I also ordered the Motorman used GM TBI hardware set from Evil bay, and my nephew is... -

To elaborate and update we had the TBI back on and the truck fired up. The injectors were spraying healthy but one was leaking out a little top side. So we took it out with intentions of taking apart to reassemble and were already planning to replace gaskets, and then the torx screw snapped in... -

Torx bolt snapped while re-installing injector pod. Does anyone know if there are TBI hardware kits at the regular auto parts shops? -
