I have used a Dorman power motor the last time I had problems and it was awesome. Now the OG regulator is finally beyond my skill level to remedy. I am anticipating good install with the Dorman. -

Sent photos of old and new regulator rollers off to Classic Industries. I am thinking of snapping pics of both old and new rollers at the opening spot on the track so they can see the difference there as well. I am also very tempted to sand the rollers down as suggested by you guys... -

I wish I could have prevented this tragedy. The wrong year regulator from LMC had rollers that went in the track perfectly but motor would not mount correctly. Correct year OER from Classic I is perfect fit for power motor mounts. Should I have just had LMC send the correct year?... dang. I sent... -

I already hit all the moving parts with lithium grease. After the rollers wouldn't budge I hit them with even more grease. -

I got the regulator in from Classic Industries. The motor bolts on perfect. I was excited to get the job done but putting the regulator in the door the rollers are just wide enough to not fit in the GD tracks. Just slightly to wide or maybe to tall??!! Either way this is frustrating AH. I... -

There are O'Reilly's here and I have actually found parts for the truck with them. My nephew just got a job at one that is not to far from here so I anticipate sourcing from them in the future. I'm actually looking forward to driving my truck there, it's about a nice 20 minute ride. -

Chuck, are you saying you think OER is poorer quality than non OER? I was planning to get money back from LMC and order the OER regulator from Classic Industries. Thoughts??? Feedback please... -

So it looks like LMC sent me a regulator for 77-81 not 82-87. I am calling customer service and sending back. Should I have them exchange and send the correct piece or order one from elsewhere that is OER and just get my money back from LMC? LMC does not claim OER. -

So I got the connector switch wired in for drivers power window. Then old regulator is toast. New regulator was ordered on a whim because it was only $40 but it does not line up directly to the power motor mounts. I was looking in to slotting mount holes but now think I will attempt to return... -

I had idle problems and threw new spark plugs in. It worked. But it sounds like the total power kill could be fuel pump maybe? -

I have been going in with motor mounted but on the old regulator wich is no longer working correctly, apparently... I really want to use this new regulator because it has so much life in it. Will it actually mount properly if I drill out space for mounting??? GD parts from(trump impression) CHINA. -
