Picked up my first classic truck

Outside door handle rod
@Mark80K15 , we had similar issues and did not want to wait on shipping on the actual white clip so I drilled a small hole in shaft of the arm and inserted it into mechanism and put a small washer and cotter pin… and it’s been fine ever since… did replace the other with the actual white part...- Randy and Easton

Convenience center mounting
our C10 had same thing but nothing attached to it, part of the brace for gas pedal. We cut it off to give us more room to work with the wiring and vintage air ducting- Randy and Easton

Brake/turn signal
Year truck? I say check grounds in tail light assembly, should be grounded to bed. Then check bulbs and then sockets. Did they work before? What changed?- Randy and Easton

@idahovette thanks for the kind words.. don’t think college is in his future, but he loves the game. Coaches a 12U local team and has since they were 8 so his heart is in the game. Finally all in. Have to say, the LMC pad was superior to the truck shop one. Guess the difference in vinyl versus urethane. Easton is very happy with the outcome.. Randy and E- Randy and Easton

Charcoal canister delete?
Easton says With hole in cap, no back pressure on tank today. Drove it quite a bit and then opened gas cap… nothing. Still plan on doing the valve addition to the line in the engine compartment as @Bextreme04 recommends. Can’t hurt at all. Waiting for valve and fuel line from scamazon and will...- Randy and Easton

Lots of guys went Dakota Digital and they all seem to like them. We were going to do the same but 16 year olds budget did not allow the extra cash at the time.
