    Help with grinding/whirring sound!

^^^^ This Except a dragging brake pad or shoe would be my actual first check and bearings would be second. Only because brake issues can be seen without disassembly of the hubs.

    What is this please!

Whatever it is, I wouldn’t trust anything on a truck that new that’s bolted on with a slot style pan head fastener. That screw belongs on yard furniture from the 50’s

I don’t know what an AR61 is but I think your truck looks great with those rally’s

    Poll: alternative 20” wheel options

No vote… Since none of your choices fit my style they’re equal. That being said, I wouldn’t judge your taste on any of the three. None of them are horrible

Rad trailer… I know you said you don’t want to put the winch on the tongue but you could easily fit one inside the box closest to the deck. It would be out of the weather there. Here’s the way dad fabbed up his trailer winch, usually the spare tire tucks down on top of it

    Vintage air vs. stock dilemma???

I’m guessing the “Sweaty box” can be attributed to the Florida humidity…. Arizona is arid enough that the box isn’t collecting condensation on the outside of the housing.

    Rear driveshaft help.

You’ve got a 25% chance of getting it right the first time… 50% on getting the correct end of the shaft mated to the slip yoke, And 50% chance (at each end) of getting the tube yoke oriented correctly at the slip yoke. Like @SquareRoot said just go for it, if you get a vibration try again...

And more Okay, this 3+3 deserves some mention. Big King coilovers and bypass shocks up front big King shocks and leafs in the rear, big money suspension for sure. I’m a little disappointed it had this massive amount of money in suspension and no way it could flex or cycle even a little bit of...

Squares at Hot August Nights Reno, NV

I didn’t walk every show in Reno today but I visited most of the big ones. Here’s what I came up with: Super clean squircle stepper in the for sale lot, they were asking $35K OBO GMC stepper, kinda a survivor body with air bags, tilt up bed access & fresh interior. Was for sale $32K I...

    Custom engine bays.

Here’s the fender shave in progress, basically just cut som metal to fill any visible holes, knocked the high spots off of the welds, and finger swiped some body filler in the gaps so it would look nice.

    Custom engine bays.

I’ll share, I did a semi-shaved firewall by welding in the vintage air adapter, eliminating the blower motor hole, added an aftermarket wiper motor that’s smaller, tack welded the seam, & welding up any unnecessary holes before smearing some body filler. I left the stock wiring bulkhead, brake...

    Radio Wiring

Just a guess based on typical GM wire colors: Black - ground Yellow - 12v ign. Switched power Grey - illumination I do agree with everyone’s advice to test them, definitely don’t trust my instincts.

Wheel spacer for my 1986 GMC K3500 3+3….

This… Also, spacers like any safety equipment or suspension part shouldn’t be purchased from the lowest bidder (Amazon/4WP Etc.). There are several companies that produce quality US made spacers that are legitimate quality parts. I’ve been running 1.6” spacers on my Jeep with 37’s for 40k...

    Squarebody to GMT400 Chassis Swap

^^^^ This Sounds like a big job but would be cool to see it pulled off well. I’d bet you would need to run a stand alone PCM or swap to the 0411 GM PCM since the BCM from the GMT400 probably wouldn’t fit anywhere and the old black box computers are a PIA to get programmed Just trying to...

    Brake booster pushrod firewall grommet

If you haven’t turned your core in you should be able to get the one off your old booster. Mine was a 2 piece yellow plastic unit that was covered in the black mastic tar stuff that is all over the firewall. I was able to clean it up with some lacquer thinner and sprayed with vinyl dye.
