You’re speaking my language. I just got a 3/8” spacer off scamazon, which by all reports means roughly translated .75” correction, and theoretically would be completely level once I get my 165 lb frame in the driver side. Front spring question
I don’t recall- I know that the lower control arm has a “pocket” for the end of the spring to sit into- I don’t remember the upper perch having the same but can anyone confirm? The reason I’m asking is that my truck after lowering has always had a bit of a 1/2” or so lean toward the driver...- ChuckN

Yesterday was such a nice day that I took a cruise out in the county, and stopped by Heavy Metal Custom Shop in town. The Edelbrock tuning had been going ok, but it was rich at the top end at WOT. Like…filthy pig rich, 10.7-10.8 on the AFR and would start to choke itself out. So when I stopped... -

I would be remiss to not ask for pictures. IMHO (and I don’t necessarily agree with this) that many times curb appeal rules the day over awesome mechanical work. I will say that that is an impressive list of upgrades tho. -

Absolutely. For myself, I’m not looking for efficiency, just wanting to time the carb since in some areas it is rich, and others too lean depending on where the throttle is at.- ChuckN

If it is a 1406, it is a 600 cam, but more importantly it is jetted conservatively and also, the accelerator pump nozzle is amongst the smallest Eddy uses. Oh, mostly for tuning the step up springs in conjunction with the AFR gauge so I can tune how quick or slow the fuel comes in- so I’ll need it in the cab with me. The main reason for the question is I wasn’t sure if vacuum gauges in general were “dead head” or if they had any flow through effect.- ChuckN

The Eddy carb has limited ports. The trans modulator is connected to a fitting on the manifold itself, the rear (large fitting) is used by the brake booster, and the front is used for full manifold vacuum for the timing advance (not ported vacuum, the full vacuum fitting). Got the voltmeter taken care of. Picked up the printed circuit retaining clips from my buddy, and for sure they are a thicker gauge of metal. Took a lot more effort to snap them in as well. The other thing I noticed was one of the nuts in the back of the gauge was almost imperceptibly loose... -
