Let’s see your memorabilia?!
Saw your photos and realized I have one very similar that my father gave me years ago. Where would it be??? In the kitchen of course, buried under baking sheets. Unlike the Griswold skillet that I use most days, I have never used this. If my dad used this I have no memory of that. -

Drove to Bedford VA to the D-Day Memorial since tomorrow is June 6. The little town of Bedford suffered the highest per-capita losses on D-Day - 20 young men. Great memorial. Beautiful drive, about 50 miles round trip. Blazer did great. -

I restored these wonderful antique Dayton scales and would order tempered glass ovals and rounds for them from this company. A big, thick one as shown was around $75 I believe but it was thick and had rounded edges so a plain flat rectangle would be cheaper. Plus you can size it all out and get... -
TH350 oil level, engine off
Installed my aux transmission cooler today. After a leak check (none!) I drove it the same route I did when I first put the temp gauge in. Installed my transmission temperature gauge today. The Autometer literature recommended a “short” sending unit if installing it in a pressure test port so as to not bottom it out. I can say that a wire wheel on a drill motor does a great job of transferring grime from the transfer case to your body. I looked like I had changed races by the time I was done. :D -

I am planning to install a temperature sending unit in my TH350 and was leaning towards installing the unit in the 1/8” NPT pressure tap port, circled in yellow.
