    Dually Rims

Sure, using aluminum wheels that are lug-centric will work... but only on 4 of the wheels. The inside duals will still not have anything to properly center them.

    1974 NOS doors.

Damn. I have a couple NOS doors that I've never used yet. Maybe I should just sell them and reinvest some profit into nice used doors. 1k each would definitely be worth the hassle.

I wouldn't throw away the spring. You never know how that could be repurposed in the future.

Lowest drop coil springs for c20/c30?

Just take out the springs altogether. The end result will be about the same as 6" drop springs. In other words: slammed, terrible alignment and rides like a log wagon.

    Sear's Craftsman Handi Cut Cutter

What @Snoots is hinting at, we need pictures!!! I vaguely remember the Craftsman Handi Cut name. Was this back in the 90's when Bob Vila was doing the commercials? About the time of the Robo Grips?

    K case 700R4

I don't know what year it started, but yeah, all 87's should have a K case, if 4x4. The bellhousing portion of the case is thicker aluminum too.

Any tricks to getting your SB doors to close easier?

I noticed there was still posting going on in this thread, so I popped on in, out of curiosity. The "PEX" thread is actually a 'sticky' thread in the paint and body part of the forum. No real searching needed, it's always at the top of the list...

    1" ORD body lift

I don't remember, but powder coating must have been optional. I've got several of his products and they all came in bare steel.

What have you done to your square lately??

Last time I bought any, there were Accel shorty plugs and standard length plugs too. I've run a few sets of the Accel 576S plugs and they are definitely a short plug. No performance or durability complaints from me, they work well with a GM HEI.

    Dually Fender Attachment

Several manufacturers have used them in various composite parts. Some larger, some smaller. Junkyard shopping is the best place to find them.

What have you done to your square lately??

AC Delco, or the short Accel plugs if equipped with some type headers. Or NGK or Denso. No fancy platinum or iridium needed. Also no gimmick plugs like Split Fire or E3.

    Huck's daily - 2005 Z71 crewcab

That's when you know you are high up in the automotive industry. Have a falling out with your regular tuner? No big deal, just call up your other buddy the tuner. They are just as easy to find as a barber.

Can anyone tell me what this is??

You know, you might have still had some kind of credibility here before you just made that elaborate post. But any credibility you might have still had just flew out the window. It was a nice story of opinions, theories and other tall tales though. But there's one big thing here though... YOU...

Those Eagle ST's are evidently an extremely durable tire. They haven't made them in decades, but they are still seen on classic summertime drivers around here on a regular basis.

I don't know. All I know is that a little while back, I watched a test video that Lake Speed Jr did, with lab test results afterwards. I'm only a graduate of youtube university, lol.

    Dually Fender Attachment

Besides the studs needed to install the dually fenders, you also have to do a lot of cutting to the bedsides and there is a filler piece that connects the bedsides to the wheel housings.

The Rotella T4, while it does have the higher zddp levels, also has more detergents in it that are meant for use in a diesel engine. Those detergents can actually increase wear in a flat tappet gas engine. This is something that I just recently learned.

    8.1 vortec into 1979 k30

Mine is an '05 and has the updates, but I haven't run it enough to know how much oil it does or doesn't consume. Far as I know, folks have determined that the pcv system is the main source of consumption. The most I've heard is about a quart every 1k miles or so. I guess that math works out...

    Rough country lift

Load ratings aside, I'd never run the low end of the inflation for several reasons. I don't like a floppy sidewall or the handling characteristics that come with it. Sure, that's going to vary with every tire and size, but I'm not going to leave any additional steering response or stability on...

What have you done to your square lately??

I was just wondering. I don't know how many times I've witnessed a glass guy pull a rear window into place, nearly effortlessly, using the rope trick. The only help ever needed from me was to hold the window to the cab while he pulled the rope. Or if the interior was full of parts and stuff, I'd...

    Rough country lift

Holy crap. Anything I tow or haul with, I run max pressure in the rear and substantially less in the front. Normally 50F and 80R. The big exception would be my old crew cab dually has bias plies with a max psi of 50, so I run 50 all around. Ain't no way I'd ever be comfortable with only 30 in...
