    Huck's daily - 2005 Z71 crewcab

Could be, they've always got crap/drama going on in their lives outside of our friend group. And he should know good and damn well that I didn't want to call the other guy, it was just me being in a pinch. Tuner #2 knows him too (they work out of the same complex) so I mentioned #1 might be mad...

    Huck's daily - 2005 Z71 crewcab

Acksholly, around here that's semi true lol. There's 2 here in town near AMD, there's 1 where I live (an hour away) and then there's another an hour away from AMD in the other direction. All very reputable. So I'm very lucky

    Huck's daily - 2005 Z71 crewcab

Tuner 1 is who I reached out to when I was first building the C10 because he was the first one I met and several local guys used him/recommended him. Nice guy, super helpful. We became friends and about a year after that, a few of us helped him LS swap his '93 OBS in 13 days. He's been the only...

    Huck's daily - 2005 Z71 crewcab

So finally...FINALLY. After waiting 2 solid weeks and some BS drama with my tuner (who's now my ex-tuner apparently :33:) I FINALLY got my truck tuned yesterday and took it for a ride at lunch today! Drove it 20mi and it sounds good and the rods are still in the block! Tuner #2 came yesterday...

    Dually Fender Attachment

I certainly would not panel bond them on there. I'd say either through bolt with large washers to spread the load or threaded inserts/large rivenuts/something along those lines and then use some kind of felt or rubber between to isolate them

    Dodge Parts??? Behind seat tray

I'm a former 4th gen owner. Great trucks, just some interesting people on the forums/FB pages for them lol

What have you done to your square lately??

I've heard both that the back seal and the front seal are a beeeech and also that both are easy as pie. The one and only time I attempted the windshield install with a fresh gasket was the last time. I'll let the pros do it forever more

    Rough country lift

Shocks don't change the ride at all, they control the motion. The only way to get a better ride is to pony up for softer springs

    Tonneau cover recommendation

I have a tri-fold Tonno Pro on my truck, had it for 5 years and it's been great. Still looks great and is completely water tight other than where I have the karate chop in the center of my tailgate.

    AN fuel line kits

Different brand and a few extra pieces (which is great cuz I bought them all separate) but this is what I used for both transmission lines and fuel lines. Easy to work with and great looks https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BY1Y1L38/

    77 big10 roller 5.3 LS swap

There's been several changes since I initially bought the truck but here's the basic breakdown of when I first built it (put 27.5k miles on this setup): - Aluminum LH6 5.3 and 4L65E out of an Envoy Denali with ~106k miles - Fresh filter/fluid in the trans, nothing more - All gaskets/seals/head...

Fuel Gauge 0-90 with Fuel Sender 0-95 omhs??

It shouldn't. There's an acceptable range/allowable variance when talking sending units and that's well within range

    Old77’s GMT400 SWB 4x4 5-speed project/DD

Hey I hope you prove me wrong but I went "HOLY ****" when I saw that cab corner. WTF happened to that part?? Was that part of the rollover?

    Dodge Parts??? Behind seat tray

That's one thing I've never understood, every one of those diesel dick suckers always refer to their truck as an "05 Cummins" or "06 Powerstroke" etc.

what other years rear end fit my 1979 chevy c-10 big ten.

So your truck being a '79 should've had a 12-bolt I believe. Pretty much any '73-87 fullsize GM truck axle should work with minimal mods. Honestly, best bang for the buck is to either just totally rebuild yours and add a posi or find a good empty housing and do the same. I bought all my stuff...

    77 big10 roller 5.3 LS swap

Half the reason to do the swap is the modern, fuel injected engine. The other half is to gain an overdrive. Find another 4L60 or get that one rebuilt, would suck to go through all that work and still be singing on the interstate. Seriously, it's no extra work to do the 4L60. Just 1 more leg on...

    Dodge Parts??? Behind seat tray

You're putting too much thought into it lol. Most of the 4th gen+ guys don't have 2 brain cells to rub together lol

Stock Cold air intake performance upgrades

The best thing I ever did to help the performance of my 305/T350 was throw it in the woods and put a 5.3 LS/4L65 in the truck lol. Seriously, those engines are so weezy, you won't see any gains doing any of that. As said, the little core support insert works off low pressure and is actually a...

1981 gmc 3500 two tone blue and silver pictures?

Nope, that picture is olddddddd lol. Truck was an automatic and sitting super high in the rear at that point, I ran around with like 400lbs in the bed at all times to make it look better :anitoof:
