    Saginaw Steering Box Overhaul

It is relatively straight forward. Almost looked like that one was packed with grease, while it should not be so. This was z28 box internals getting ready to put back together.

I put ls1 in it about 14 years ago. Currently putting an ls3 in 87 camaro with a t56. To do it more seamless, body harness needs to integrate with engine harness.

    89 Trans Am

Update on 87 camaro. Stuffed motor/trans in the back of an enclave. Will be going in 84 or 85 el camino. I went with lazy method on trans/driveshaft. Left driveshaft in place and transmission full of fluid. Then placing the pan under trans pulled it up with hoist. Drive shaft removed and trans...

Thanks, takes a lot of time just to fit things in. Especially with extra insulation being added.

It's from the south and Does it have an actual zr2 frame? From a quick glance the width did not look right, but figured it was just the angle of the picture. Edit: wheels just seem to be tucked in more than stock zr2

    cheap paint job options

Edited the post. Was black epoxy primer. Rolled it on using tray and a roller from home depot. Epoxy protects and seals, and is good with taking real paint later. In progress picture before suspension or anything else was changed.

Body tear is because of exhaust hanger hanging there. Even more things coming apart, but radio works.

I used ppg shop line epoxy on my car. Sanded fine, but did not do a long block.

Passenger side is so much worse. And then there is a random body tear around passenger rear seat belt mount.

My rear seats were really in bad shape. I have acquired better set, but different color. So fronts are getting replaced as well. Moved manual rails from old seats to slightly newer seats. Switches will stay on a side as a reminder that it used to be a power seat.

There is a 2"x4" hole a bit higher. Decided to use panel bond on this one. Being unibody the hole has no access from below, so if I weld a small patch I would not be able to coat it from below. With panel bond, I can prep it and then glue a patch. Should keep it from getting more rust.
