Anyone running a Martin Turbo kit?

Also not pictured is a special vacuum advance that will retard timing when the boost comes in. My carb will have full vacuum the whole time beings this is a draw through setup and not typical blow through. No need for an intercooler because it uses the fuel that is coming through the turbo to...

Anyone running a Martin Turbo kit?

Seems to be. I guess I'll know if the seal in the turbo is good when I fire it up. It's old stuff so I'm not gonna get my hopes up. The other parts are in great shape. The intake is polished aluminum and will clean up nicely.

Anyone running a Martin Turbo kit?

I'll be sure to put up some pics! The turbo seems nice and free and has had oil in it while being stored. Im completely new to turbos especially this draw through setup. It has a valve in the intake that acts as a purge valve that regulates boost to 9 psi. If I get close to that I'll be super...

Anyone running a Martin Turbo kit?

I just picked up a complete Martin Turbo kit that was made for Squarebodys. Im interested if anyone has used one of these before. How much boost are you getting and and what kind of rpm does it come in?

    Camaro 700R4 Swap

Only difference I saw as far as tail housing was the speedo gears were different. Camaro had a green one and truck had a blue one. I meant to take some pictures but the swap kept me busy all day.

    Camaro 700R4 Swap

Hey RetroC10Sport I got the trans in yesterday but there is a lockup problem. I have a cut off switch wired into my brake cut off switch for the TCC so I can kill it if needed. Well it blew the fuse for that circuit when I tried to engage the TCC. Does your lockup work and if so does it engage...

    Camaro 700R4 Swap

I've swapped plenty of tail housings before just didn't really want to do labor that wasn't needed or cause a leak but I'm sure it will work out. This way my truck won't have bolt holes for a torque arm for no reason.

    Camaro 700R4 Swap

This trans is from an 87 so it has a mechanical speedo. I've already removed the F body style tail but I'm gonna compare the 2 when they are on the bench for future reference.

    Camaro 700R4 Swap

Hmm let me check. I know the mount is on the case of the Camaros trans so I just figured the truck was the same.

    Camaro 700R4 Swap

I'm attempting to swap in a 700R4 out of an 87 IROC into my truck. I've read the only difference is the tail housing but do I even need to swap it over? It's my daily driver and I'm preparing the replacement trans this week to swap in Saturday. I just want to have the replacement as ready as it...

    Drop air shocks?

Is anyone running air shocks with a 4 inch hanger/shackle drop? I do some light towing and I use air shocks to keep the back tight when needed but I'm lowering it. I not against getting nitro drop shocks I just don't want to loose the control I have now with air shocks.
