    when we're bleeding the rears the pedal will only go down like half of the travel that the front does, is that normal? is there a reset button on the proportioning valve? does gravity bleeding work on rear brakes on our kinds of trucks?

    jeez i feel like im bothering everyone with tedious stuff. oh well.. so i just replaced my master cylinder, put new pads on the front and bled the system. i finished and started up the truck. the brake light came on (red) on the dash. never seen this light on b4... sumthin not right or maybe...

    ok went and got a new master cylinder and front brake pads. is it a good idea to try to bench bleed my master cylinder? or unnecessary. any tips on bench bleeding the mc and installing it or just pretty basic..

    pass rear huh. damn. ok so how much fluid can it take to get all the air bubbles out? seemed like drivers side rear was further cuz the main brake line follows my pass side frame and then splits on the pass side of my rear diff.

    yeah i just dropped one of my tanks. mayeb sure the power wire is back on the selector valve. and if you have a sending unit make sure its properly seated there too. also, make sure youre ground wire is reconnected to the frame, ( i took steel wool to the spot to ensure good ground) double...

    ok so i just got my gas tank dropped and noticed something. the middle line which i think is a 5/16 vent line is like 4 inched long. it doesnt have a plug on it. just open. do i need to put a plug on it ? btw it was way easier dropping the tank by undoing the 8 frame bolts holding the mounting...
